Tamar ten Have

Mijn naam is Tamar ten Have, ik ben 20 jaar en ben vierdejaarsstudent van de Bachelor Griekse en Latijnse Taal en Cultuur aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. Ook heb ik een minor in Italiaans gedaan en ben ik momenteel voorzitter van studievereniging Klassieke Talen in Amsterdam, C.C.A.c.N.P. Laverna. Ik heb een brede academische interesse, waaronder Griekse en Latijnse lyriek, Postklassieke en Middeleeuwse literatuur en cultuurgeschiedenis. In mijn vrije tijd lees ik graag boeken, voornamelijk fictie, en kijk ik historische drama’s. Het internationale aspect van Europa Ciceroniana spreekt mij erg aan en ik ben benieuwd naar wat wij van elkaar kunnen leren. Aangezien Cicero mijn eindexamenauteur was, heb ik ook een persoonlijke link met de auteur. Ik kijk ernaar uit om dit project te ondersteunen!

My name is Tamar ten Have, I’m 20 years old and now in my fourth year of the Bachelor of Classics at the University of Amsterdam. Last year I completed a minor in Italian and right now I serve as the head of the board of the study association of Classics in Amsterdam, C.C.A.c.N.P. Laverna. I have a broad academic interest, including Greek and Latin lyric, Postclassical and Medieval texts and cultural history. In my free time I like to read books, mainly fiction, and enjoy watching historical drama’s. What sparked my interest was the international aspect of the project of Europa Ciceroniana and I’m curious to see what we could learn from each other. Since I read Cicero for my exams in high school, I have a personal link with the author as well. I’m looking forward to supporting this project!
